Japan
Twenty-eight British and Japanese leaders took part in the 25th UK-Japan 21st Century Group forum, which was held in Japan on February 19–22. At the start of the program, the participants met with Prime Minister of Japan Taro Aso. The participants then engaged in a series of roundtable discussions on issues such as domestic and regional developments in each country, the global implications of the start of the Obama Administration in the United States, the international financial crisis, and opportunities for cooperation on energy and the environment.
