JCIE continued its US-Japan Global Health Dialogue series to explore how the two countries can strengthen bilateral cooperation on health security under the Trump and Abe administrations. This second meeting convened more than 40 high-level government officials and policy experts from the United States and Japan, bringing senior officials from the White House and most of the key US agencies involved in global health issues together with a Japanese delegation headed by Japan’s Health Minister Yasuhisa Shiozaki. The event was co-sponsored by CSIS for their help in making this a highly productive meeting.
