OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS | 2021 Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation

December 23, 2020

The people of Asia are living longer than ever, presenting a vast array of new challenges and new opportunities that all sectors of society—government, business, civil society, and communities—are just beginning to explore and address.

Now in its second year, the Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation (HAPI) seeks to recognize and amplify innovative policies, programs, services, and products that address these and many other challenges facing aging societies. The objective is to highlight cutting-edge ideas that people throughout the region can emulate or access.

Innovations must be a policy, program, service, or product in one of three categories:
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION
COMMUNITY-BASED INITIATIVES
SUPPORTING SELF-RELIANCE

This prize is an initiative of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE), under the auspices of the Japanese government’s Asia Health and Wellbeing Initiative (AHWIN).

Applications for the award will be accepted from January 11–March 12, 2021. Click the buttons below to learn more about the award and to view last year’s winners.
