Japan NGO Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund

The Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE/USA) and JCIE/Japan have launched the Japan NGO Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund. The fund is dedicated to supporting emergency relief and long–term reconstruction and recovery activities in the areas of Northeastern Japan that have been most affected by the March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami and the ongoing nuclear crisis. By providing multiyear support to Japanese organizations, the fund aims to strengthen nongovernmental efforts to rebuild communities devastated by the disasters.
